☆Professor Takahiro Suzuki

Specialized field: Next-generation mobility and robotics

He is the researcher who is keep connecting with the society with the passion of "I want to leave something helpful to the society to remember"

He has interesting careers that he was working as an officer at Nagasaki prefectural office besides he was working as the associate professor and the professor of the Tokyo University.

He considers implementing science into society as his philosophy, and he is aiming to suggest a society model which is the first proposal from the region and develops an automatic driving system for elderly pepople of the region.

☆Mr. Wataru Taniguti

The founder and representative Director of the Robot Venture Company, ZMP Corp.,LTD. He has realized the connected car and automatic driving and is aiming to create a happy car life style.

The procedure of the experiment to estimate the car location using "SLAM" technique without relying on the information from GPS or sign is a current topic.

 2001  Establish ZMP, assume the representative director

 2004  Release bipedal walking robots "nuvo" for household use

 2007  Release autonomous mobile music robots "miuro" for household use

 2009  Release "RoboCar 1/10" which size is 1/10 of the car for car development

 2011  Release "RoboCar MV" which is EV base for one-passenger.

 2012  Release  "RoboCar HV" which is Prius base

 2013  Release  "RoboCar PHV" which is Prius base. Perform the demonstration of

     automatic driving in the ITS world conference, Tokyo motor show.

 2014  Preparing for automatic driving on highway.
